Booking Conditions
1. Our Contract
By booking a trip with us, you agree to these Booking Conditions, and your booking will be accepted based on these terms. The services provided are those mentioned in our offer sent via mail or displayed on the website. All tours and offers are subject to availability.
2. Validity
Dates and itineraries are valid as per the offer or online booking. Changes for private tours can be made up to three weeks before the travel date. Later changes may be possible on a case-by-case basis, depending on third-party flexibility.
3. Deposit Requirement
A non-refundable deposit of at least 10% of the trip cost is required for any travel above 200 Euros. This is subject to discussion due to the COVID-19 situation.
4. Acceptance of Booking and Final Payments
Once we accept your booking, we will issue an invoice and offer with all details included. A contract will exist between us from the date you make a payment based on the offer we sent you. The balance of the trip must be paid seven days in advance if by bank transfer, or in cash on the first day of the trip, unless otherwise agreed via email. For self-guided service charges, no refunds are available once the company has made all bookings and provided the client with the required details.
5. Prices & Surcharges
Our trip prices are subject to variable and seasonal pricing, standard practices within the travel industry. This means our prices may change at any time based on demand, market conditions, and availability. Different passengers on the same trip may have been charged different prices. If you like the price you see, it’s best to book at that time. Any reduced pricing or discounts that become available after you have paid your deposit will not apply. If you wish to cancel your booking to take advantage of a cheaper price, full cancellation conditions will apply.
6. Your Details
To confirm travel arrangements, you must provide all requested details, including but not limited to: full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport copy, passport number, passport issue and expiry date, and any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your ability to complete the travel arrangements.
7. Cancellation by the Traveler
If you cancel some or all portions of your booking, cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation. If you cancel a trip, we will retain the deposit.
7.1. Cancellation by the Traveler for Self-Guided Trips
For self-guided tours where the client has chosen to pay for services directly to the provider, the following conditions apply:
– If the client does not use the booked service (Guest house or excursions), they are obliged to pay for the booked service even if not used. The company will invoice the client.
– For cancellations, the client should notify the company at least three days in advance.
8. Cancellation by Us
We may cancel a trip at any time up to 30 days before departure. We may also cancel a trip prior to departure due to terrorism, natural disasters, weather problems, political instability, or other external events that make it unviable to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip, you will receive a full refund. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking.
9. Age & Health Requirements
The minimum age at the time of travel applies to many of our trips. Most trips have no upper age limit, though they can be physically demanding, and passengers must ensure they are suitably fit for full participation. All travelers under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. We cannot guarantee triple or adjoining rooms for families; accompanying adults may need to share with others in the group on a twin-share basis.
10. Small Groups & Combination Trips
For trips not organized for a specific group, these terms apply: Our trips are guaranteed to depart once there is one fully paid traveler, unless the minimum group size states otherwise.
11. Passport and Visas
You must carry a valid passport/ID and obtain all necessary visas, permits, and certificates for the countries visited during your trip. For some trips, we provide this service, as noted in the Logistic Note. Your passport must be valid for six months beyond the trip duration. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country due to lacking the correct passport, visa, or other travel documentation.
12. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is recommended and is the traveler’s responsibility. It should be taken out at the time of booking and provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation, with a recommended minimum coverage of US$200,000 for each category. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, and loss of luggage and personal effects.
13. Flexibility
You acknowledge that this type of travel requires considerable flexibility, and you should allow for alternatives. The provided itinerary represents the types of activities planned, but routes, schedules, itineraries, amenities, and transport modes may change without prior notice due to local circumstances or events. Your guide is best placed to evaluate the optimal route to the next destination, and their decisions are final. The company will also provide flexibility for certain changes to accommodate group requests.
14. Change of Itinerary
We reserve the right to change an itinerary before and after departure due to local circumstances or events beyond our control. In such emergencies, you will cover the additional costs of necessary itinerary alterations. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses incurred due to itinerary changes, such as visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights.
15. Authority on Tour
Our group trips are led by a guide. The guide’s decisions are final on all matters affecting the safety or wellbeing of any traveler or staff member. If you fail to comply with a decision made by the guide or interfere with the group’s wellbeing or mobility, the guide may direct you to leave the trip immediately, with no right to a refund. We may also refuse to carry you on any future trips. You must comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange, and drug regulations of all countries visited and agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.
16. Acceptance of Risk
You acknowledge that the nature of the trip is adventurous and involves a degree of personal risk.
17. Limitation of Liability
– Any liability for loss, death, injury, or damage you may suffer in connection with or arising out of your participation in a trip, or any breach of the Booking Conditions, is excluded.
– You release us and our officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims arising out of or in connection with your participation in a trip.
– Any claim is excluded to the extent that it is for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or economic loss, or for indirect, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.
18. Optional Activities
Optional activities are not included in the trip price.
19. Claims & Complaints
If you have a complaint about your trip, please inform your guide or our representative immediately so they can address the issue. If not resolved to your satisfaction, you can write to our official email.
20. Photos and Marketing
You consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for promotional purposes on social media and our website. If you do not agree, please inform the guide.
21. Applicable Law
The laws of the Republic of Kosovo will apply.
