Liqenat hiking

Sunday (December 15, 2024) with Happy Trails Kosovo, at Liqenat (Kuqishtë) 1970 m/a.s.l.

The hike will start from Restaurant Liqeni, with the ascent following the trail that passes through the Kuqishtë highlands.

Required equipment:

  • Hiking boots
  • Sweater
  • Raincoat
  • Winter jacket and pants
  • Gloves and a hat
  • Snow gaiters are also recommended

The hike will be moderate and manageable for beginners.

Trail features:
The hiking trail includes water sources (which may be frozen), so it is advised to carry at least 1.5 L of water with you.

Additional information:
Liqenat, located at 1970 m/a.s.l., is situated in the National Park “Bjeshkët e Nemuna” within the Rugova highlands near the village of Kuqishtë.

  • Fee: €15 per person (including transport from Prishtina). Departure at 6:00 AM from the parking lot across RTV 21 (near NEW BORN).
  • €10 for participants arriving with private vehicles.
